“Some of my most fondly remembered roles also happen to be in programmes that were part of a golden age of ITV drama, from the British Army Lieutenant in the final episode of Harry’s Game to DC Ben in The Beiderbecke Affair and Perkins the Coachman in the Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes: The Hound of the Baskervilles through to a nasty police sergeant collaborating with the German TV_DRAMARAMA THE ALIEN 1occupiers of the Channel Islands in Island at War. Proud to have played the father of a homeless family in an improvised scenario for an ITV Telethon charity commercial, Homeless, shot at Pinewood, which went on to win a Bronze Bear Award at Cannes. I am proud too to have played leading support roles in high quality original work for younger audiences in other classic ITV programmes like Dramarama: The Alien Victorian Values: Edwin Chadwick and How We Used to Live: The Spanish Armada“.
